Designers who reside in their roots and with years of experience adored the show looks sexy with a touch of vintage elegance.
The show is scheduled at the National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Mumbai. This is a joint initiative between Lakme, the famous names in the beauty industry, and IMG, entertainment and media company and a global leader in event management and fashion weeks. Performances are held at Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, NCPA, and designers exhibiting their collections in tents called "Source", which is located adjacent to the theater. 57 talented designers displayed their collections, and 19 of the most important fashion stalwarts were present at the fashion event.
JJ Valaya's "Paisa":
JJ Valaya kick started the breathtaking show at the 29th March by exhibiting superior range of clothing and appealing jewelery in the name of "Paisa". His collections filled the ramp with a vibrant fusion of ethnic wear along with Indo-western attires permeating and Rajasthani feel.
Arshiya Fakih Eapen "Araiya":
designer Arshiya Fakih Eapen collection titled "Araiya" were inspired by the hues of blue, magenta, green, with a touch of beige, black, and gray. Attires are a range of silk, satin, velvet, with black, silver and gold plating with burnished decoration and embroidery. Arshiyas silhouettes represented micro ministries in different styles and drapes. Silk fabrics are stamping, and break the effect, while Lycra, crepe, satin and get the rubber effect. Noori embossed jersey dresses with wide sleeves, decorated with gold embellishment, satin dress with sleeves sauce and antique work, trimmed with silver buttons and rubberized treatment were essential Arshya collection.
Drashta Sarvaiya:
Drashta collection displayed at the 29th March was an interesting mix of a new trend, along with art and fashion. Her collection is a strong signature look. Drashta clothing line is a sparkling feminine look with stylish cocktail ensemble in the range of tunics, coats, jackets and similar garments were in rice knit jersey, chiffon, satin and Lycra shaded with inspiring hues of green, purple, ocher, blue, copper, all the time color, black. Its maker in silk fabric with metallic shades giving a dramatic look.
Sanjay Malhotra's "Night at the Moulin Rogue":
Sanjay Malhotra showcased a collection titled "A Night at the Moulin Rogue" 2 April was a combination of formal Western clothing and blend. Silk and chiffon clothing found their way into vibrant shades of wine, orange, emerald green and peach. His collections are adorned with zari for seams, lace with floral and sequin work vezom.Elegantan white sari with exquisitely designed Pallavi in red rose sequins was the highlight of his collection. Graced Jodhpur jackets, lace dress and curtains, peach gowns with black appliqu, black lace, off the shoulder gowns were also displayed in your collection. Men's wear and a place in your collection with gray suit, raw silk jacket and pants with inset pleats on the back.
Vivek Karunakaran and his "Uber Chic":
Vivek karunakaran the cocktail collection, displayed under the title "Uber Chic" reveals that his creativity stayed close to inspiration. Black and gray formed the basic colors while jade and wine shades have a role in his fashion palette. The clothes are very feminine fabric Georgette, satin and silk chiffon. Vivek's silhouettes were shift dresses with mini skirts, high waist flared skirts, empire line dresses and quilted cropped jackets. His collection of designer quilting and pleating, adorned with embroidery like sequins in cuffs and neck. Double layered satin dress, blocked pleated chiffon dress, satin kimono top with jade and black belt around the waist, fitted shirt with three-color coating on the edge of some of his clothing displayed in the main part of the show.
